Comments: In a future, corporations control most aspects of life. Rollerball is the premier form of recreation. Cities have teams sponsored by the corporate executives. Rollerball is violent; however, it's still a game. That's until Jonathan, the leader of Houston's team, gains personal fame. His executive doesn't like Jonathan's fame and tells him to retire. Jonathan refuses, and the game is turned into a high stakes match.

This film explores the increasingly violent game of American football. More importantly, it presents a world where the corporations have power over the individual. It is a classic film. Recommended.
