Comments: An elderly man, Jeremiah O'Keefe, owns a number of funeral homes and a burial insurance in southern Mississippi. He took a chance using extra cash to enlarge his ownership. Unfortunately, the regulatory board cites him for insufficient cash reserves and threatens to suspend his license. That's when a funeral corporation based in Vancouver offers to buy a portion of his small business. When the corporation drags its feet to sign the contract, Jerry files a lawsuit for breach of contract. The case develops into more than a potential breach of contract.

This legal drama starts as a comedy before becoming serious. It's very well done. I don't care for the racism from both white & black individuals. The film is loosely based on an article from the New Yorker so that may explain the prejudices. Otherwise, it's definitely worth watching.
