Comments: Walter is motoring around the Pacific Ocean north of Australia. He's an American and enjoys drinking, so he's not interested in the war. Frank of the Royal Australian Navy blackmails him to stay on an uninhabited island to watch for Japanese airplanes. (World War II is not going well for the Australians.) Frank tells Walter that for every confirmed report of enemy aircraft, he'll give him directions to buried whiskey on the island.

This silly film is great fun. The dialogue is funny, and there are many good one-liners. It's based on a story. Recommended!
