Comments: Mary was born into a literary family. The trouble is neither of her parents produced a commercial success. Still, living in a bookshop does make one really appreciate novels and the dream that they bring into our lives, expecially those with a history of writing. The only trouble is can Mary ignore the problems in her life to follow her dreams?
Mary did go on to produce a masterpiece. Frankenstein has frighted and entranced many decades of readers. (I enjoyed reading it.) Her monster claims all the fright. But, as this film suggests, should it?
I really enjoyed this film. I love books, so it's no surprise. The acting isn't bad either. The scene-setting-folks did an excellent job. All said, this film is a masterpiece! It presents a bit, which is just enough, to solidify a personality. Well done!
