Comments: Four children escape England with their mother. They settle in her family's ancestral home. They change they name to provide a symbolic break with their past. But when she dies, the four children make a pact to stick together in the old house. The trouble arises when there seems to be an ominous force present with them.
This exciting thriller does a good job all around. It's, also, creepy and maintains an old-world atmosphere throughout. Despite being set in coastal New England, this film was shot in Spain. The twists and turns make this film well worth watching.
