Title (Year): The Tower (2012)Age: 12 yearsGRS Rating: 4 of 5Notable Cast: None.Duration: 2 hr, 1 minInfractions: PerilComments: A new twin skyscraper complex is open for a Christmas Eve party. They're the tallest buildings in Seoul. In a rush to be ready for the party, the sprinkler system doesn't work above a certain floor. But the real trouble occurs when a helicopter, dumping fake snow, is caught in an updraft and loses control. It crashes into one of the buildings, starting a major fire.
This Korean disaster film may rub some the wrong way: twin skyscrapers that are hit by an aircraft may be too close to September 11th. Still, this is a good disaster film that draws a lot from Towering Inferno. The effects in this film are excellent.Want more? Switch to desktop version
