Comments: This movie opens with a well-traveled American journalist settling in Japan before the second World War. This reporter writes an article outlining a potential plan of the Japanese military for the capture of China. He meant it mostly in jest; however, when the Imperial police start tracking him and recruit a female operative, he realizes his folly.

This post-war espionage film is pretty good. The main character always has something witty to say to defuse a difficult situation. There's a love interest, and also plenty of action. There's no reason why this film, which is in the public domain, shouldn't be enjoyed!
