Title (Year): Django (1966)Age: 58 yearsGRS Rating: 1 of 5Notable Cast: Franco NeroDuration: 1 hr, 32 minInfractions: Violence & blood.Comments: The film opens with a man dragging a coffin through the rain and mud. After rescuing a woman from Mexican outlaws and vigilante soldiers, he stops in a dying Western town for a meal. There, he kills most of the soldiers, and the Mexicans are welcomed in. The conflict arises when he is not given the money he's promised by the Mexicans.
This is a graphic Spaghetti Western. It is probably the most violent Western I have ever seen. The story is pretty good. This quiet do-gooder, which is so popular in Westerns, is simply happy to discharge his weapons. Django Unchained is less graphic.Want more? Switch to desktop version
