Comments: A post-Civil War cavalry-man is accused of murdering the commanding officer of his Arizona fort and also raping a young girl. Through several accounts during a court-martial, the story is retold. But will he be tried as a man regardless of his skin color?

This courtroom drama is very good. The outdoor scenes were almost exclusively shot in Monument Valley. Its theme of racial discrimination seems relevant even today.
