Comments: This movie follows the heroic leadership of Hal Moore during the Battle of Ia Drang of the Vietnam conflict. The film does an excellent job of portraying the horrors of war without being over-the-top. It also shows the impact war has on families. The response of the '60s public to wounded soldiers is also briefly shown. There is violence in the movie: it is about a battle. Good film.
