Comments: A sheltered young woman, who many believe will be a spinster, suddenly elopes with a dashing man. After the marriage, she begins suspect that he is a murderer. The story comes to a head when she believes that she's next to be killed.

This is a good early Hitchcock film. Both lead actors give impressive performances. The ending is unexpected.
