Comments: The "class whore" (her term, not mine) is put into a remedial class after making a rash comment during sex education. There she is forced into partnership with a fat, gay guy for the five-pound-sugar-bag-baby parenting project. When her mother attempts to redeem herself by wanting to marry a Mormon, Danielle elicits the gay guy and together they drive out of Oklahoma in search of Danielle's biological father.
I don't usually watch these kinds of movies. Perhaps it was recommended to me because I like independent-style, road trip movies. Regardless, I was impressed by the acting and the plot is not bad. This is a somewhat bizarre film so be ready for that!
