Comments: This movie describes two brothers who are freelance truck drivers in California during the Great Depression. They are just making it big when one brother is crippled after he crashes their truck. The other brother goes to work for a trucking firm to have a steady income with which to take care of his brother and his sister-in-law. Then, his new boss dies and the boss's wife starts coming on to him.

This is the only Bogart film that I can think of where he doesn't stand out. Regardless, this is an excellent film that provides insight into early trucking while developing a couple of characters.
