Comments: I had just finished reading Homer's story before watching this film. All in all, this is pretty true to Homer. Minor details like the bed was built around the tree and not "their lives" and the fact that Odysseus masqueraded as the old beggar before he met the shepherd and was only discovered by his scar are not true.
However these are small details when compared to the rest of the film. It's very entertaining and well-executed. The fight scenes aren't too brutal. I really liked this film.
