Comments: Some people hate this remake of the 1979 film but I think this is a good modern version of the story. The leprous settlers are explained better. The special effects are better and the movie moves along better with a secular (instead of religious) conclusion, which all make this remake more applicable for today's audience.
And unlike the original film, this movie is set in beautiful Oregon instead of Northern California. Netflix messed up this detail...
