Comments: In 1976 a British ex-patriot living in Paris decides to save his wine selling business by sponsoring a competition. He's convinced by an American friend to visit the Napa Valley wineries and give California a chance. He chooses some Californian wines to compete against the entrenched French wine industry. This David versus Goliath tale is based on a real story.
I enjoyed the movie. The movie captures the cool and laid-back attitude that makes Californians so famous. Californian wines deserve a chance! Also, Rachael Taylor plays the stereotypical '70s California girl.
