Comments: This adaptation is faster moving and more exciting than the original movie. The plot has been changed to make it appeal to the modern audience. All in all, the movie is quite scary and real. I am disappointed that the male character is weaker than his equivalent in the 1979 version. The ghosts and the history of the house is developed: excellent.
