Comments: Very similar to the first movie but with some unrealistic differences.

I don't like the new car. First, it's an automatic and it's not fun watching anyone "powershift" even if the gearbox includes--what I affectionately name--a slap-stick. This silly invention was developed so people who can't drive a clutched car can feel like a race-car driver. Next, it's another damned German car. I'm tired of this. Statham is English who's supposed to be American. Why can't he drive an American or British car? Finally, it's a re-badged Volkswagen. As I recall Volkswagen developed the W12 engine--as dumb as it is--and I know Audi and VW are essentially the same; I still ask why didn't they put the VW in the show. Well, because Volkswagen doesn't have the same clout as an Audi. And this just cements my theory that the movie producers only choose cars that are "cool" by society's standards.

The movie's special effects are too fake looking, and there's no chance that any driver or car could undertake these stunts. Amber Valletta did a good job considering her background in the "seen, but not heard" modeling field.
