Comments: The film opens with a distraught movie producer visiting a doctor. Reggie asks the physician if he could be unaware of actions that his body performs: like a second personality. Reggie then tells the doctor why he worries about his mental health. He's an American who was given a second chance by a British studio. Reggie subsequently marries the daughter of the studio owner. That's when the producer starts receiving love letters from a girl in Newcastle. Reggie swears that he doesn't know the girl. However his checkered past does him no favors. Is he mad or lying?

This film makes good entertainment. I didn't figure it out until the end.
