Comments: A mysterious individual travels through time and space. The plant Earth is a favorite of this "doctor". Frequently, aliens struggle for domination and are thwarted by this marvelous individual. The Doctor is in possession of a wonderful, albeit unpredictable, time machine referred to as the TARDIS--Time And Relative Dimensions In Space. Along this peculiar individual's travels various companions join the crew in the TARDIS.

The première of this TV program was delayed by the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. That said, this program went on to be the longest running science fiction TV program of all time. Sure it had a decade's break but who's counting? I grew up watching videotape recordings of this show. There are many good morals and themes presented by this program. It always seems to keep with the times and has created a lasting following. If you haven't seen an episode, then you should do so!
