Comments: Robert Montague Renfield, the servant of Dracula, has moved Dracula to New Orleans to recuperate after nearly dying. Renfield is struggling with serving Dracula and attends group help meetings. Renfield also uses the meetings to find scumbags upon whom Dracula may feed. Dracula's unhappy with the low quality of these would-be victims and orders Renfield to find innocents. Renfield meets and rescues a heroic police officer. He learns to stand up for himself. Can he break away from Dracula?

This action-packed film reminds me of Van Helsing. I like the tie-in with Dracula. Why won't producers recognize Mr Hoult's acting ability? A complaint: I wish the volume didn't go up and down. The closing credits are cool, very '80s. I've actually seen a film burn up during a cinematic viewing, which is faked at the tail end of this movie: it's surprising and disappointing. Despite the fact that this movie takes some time to get going; I highly recommend it!
