There's a lot of historical value in this film. It's beautifully shot, obviously a big production. There are shots of the famous rocks from the Oregon Trail, Monument Valley, and Lake Mead. There are so many big names in this movie! Spencer Tracy is the narrator! This four-part epic is based on the serial in Life magazine.
