Comments: A teenaged boy, Daniel, is really upset that his father has died. His mother sends him to Hyannis for the summer to stay with his aunt. Summer birds and townies are the norm in that town, so he doesn't fit in. It's the summer of 1991 on Cape Cod. That's when he meets a townie named Hunter, who is the local drug dealer. Daniel starts down a dangerous road after hiding Hunter's drugs from a policeman.

I loved seeing all those things that I had forgotten about the late '80s and early '90s. And the things that people did for fun! And how individuals learned about one another. These brought back a lot of memories. Also, I like that the title card says 1991. It was interesting seeing red lights on a Mass. police car. (The law allows red lights in addition to the usual blue lights.) The style is similar to The Virgin Suicides. Recommended to those who grew up during this time.
