Comments: A young American woman lands in Barannca. She meets two pilots who run the mail. It's dangerous flying through an Andean pass at 14,000 feet. The airfield is fogged in many times, further increasing the risk. When Joe, one of the pilots, crashes in the fog and dies, she realizes the perils of the job. She wonders how Geoff Carter, who runs the air delivery service, copes with the loss. He's tough as nails. Maybe there's a reason why he pushes his pilots so hard?

This film describes a flying outfit much like that in Air America. I really enjoyed this movie because of its simplicity and honesty. It's also heartfelt and hard. There are some shots of great flying. Recommended!
