Comments: The film opens with an elderly man fighting a ghost and seemingly losing the battle. Elsewhere, Phoebe is the granddaughter of Egon Spengler. Egon has just died leaving his daughter, granddaughter, and grandson an old farmhouse in an old mining town in Oklahoma. Financial reasons necessitate a move to the farm. That's when they begin to uncover the dark secret hidden in the mine and why Egon was living there.

This film has so many details that harken back to the original including the music/soundtrack and props. However, it can stand on its own very well. It's not only an hommage to the Ghostbusters but an introduction of a new generation of 'busters. This movie could have been done very badly; however, this one is wonderful! Highly recommended!
