Comments: A chemist accidentally turns himself invisible while trying to find a food preservative. Jack Griffin hides in an inn in Iping to try to find a cure. He seems to be losing his mind, wreaking havoc on society.

This film seems very accurate to the novel. (Of course, it's been decades since I read the short novel.) It's said that H.G. Wells insisted that the film be produced with strict adherence to his novel. The visual effects are impressive for 1933. The characters aren't left by the wayside; they are well developed. I recommend this short classic.
