Comments: A couple are struggling. They're sticking together for their son. Meanwhile, a comet is heading towards earth. Then, the family is "selected for shelter" by the Department of Homeland Security. The media reports that bits of the comet will be large enough to cause major damage. Life for the family is made worse when they're separated on the way to shelter.

This end-of-the-world flick is OK. I don't care for the slow motion and sad music to force a reaction from the audience. There are impressive images of a destroyed world.
