Comments: Shortly after King John signs the Magna Carta, he enlists a Danish king and his mercenaries to recover England from the "rebelling" English barons. The Knights Templar who liberated England from King John, meanwhile, are in hiding. One Templar witnesses the death of his abbot, receives the Archbishop of Canterbury's blessing, and sets out to remove King John with the help of a baron and his men. They capture Rochester Castle, the seat of King John's power. Can they hold it?

This film is loosely based on The First Barons' War (1215-1217). It's mostly exciting but very graphic.
