Comments: A teenaged woman awakens in the night to her father declaring that their trailer park is on fire. He's killed, and she's chased by something very large. She wakes again in a hospital for mutants. The doctor says that she needs to learn to control her power. The trouble is that she doesn't know her power. However, the other young mutants in the hospital begin to experience creepy things from their pasts.

This mutant film is enjoyable because it develops the characters alongside the plot. The characters are all distinctive and memorable. Like any good character film, it's set in one location. It's still a film about mutants; however, it's not just the usual struggle between good and evil. Filmed in Massachusetts. Recommended.
