Comments: This film opens with a doped-up, recently-divorced man brutally murdering his ex-wife and her new husband and burning down their house. Then, he drives away. The next morning, a woman--who's also involved in a divorce--gets stuck in traffic driving her son to school. Along the way she honks at the murdering man. They exchange words, and he vows to make her day terrible and make her apologize.

This film reminded me of Joy Ride. There are some decent car chases. I like how the female character develops during the film. The "man's" pickup truck plays an important role. Russell Crowe presents the villain very well. I found the film believable, pertinent, and entertaining with a good ending. Since it's filmed in less famous areas of New Orleans, this story of road rage could occur anywhere. Recommended.
