Comments: This film opens with an ambulance driver placing a device of some sort in a car. The driver of the car had gone inside a building to bring out his passenger, an elderly man with a briefcase handcuffed to his wrist. After they set off, the device releases a gas that knocks out the driver and causes their car to crash. The ambulance is, of course, shadowing the car and responds after the crash, taking away the elder passenger and the briefcase. A detective in a police car discovers the ambulance unloading the briefcase into a stolen Jaguar Mark II and attempts to apprehend the suspect. A car chase is the result. They get away and begin to plan their next heist; however Scotland Yard is on their heels!

This film is known for the car chase. It's really impressive, even today. Like Bullitt, this film is more than a car chase. I enjoyed seeing '60s Britain. There are also Mark II Jags, a "big" Healey, an E-Type, and Minis! Production was clever to use background sounds to disguise profanities. Recommended.
