Comments: A young couple living in Santa Monica adopt a dog. When they're evicted from their apartment because their dog barks incessantly during the workday, they purchase 200 acres of disused farmland north of the city. Obviously, their city life couldn't prepare them for farm life. But could they live at all?

Since this couple is from southern California, everything was videotaped. Fortunately, this footage makes a fairly complete documentary/drama. Their goal is to establish a self-reliant farm that doesn't require pesticides, fertilizers, etc. Instead, they hope to work with nature to build a farm. This is the story of Apricot Lane Farms.
