Comments: It's New York City in 2012, and people are battling to survive. One group has banded together and created a commune. The leader decides to go outside and try to recruit a fighter standing in front of a nearby library. The world had been destroyed by diseases that attacked all crops. Cal, a member of the group, has found a way to breed plants that survive the diseases. The fighter is on his way to a safe island off the Carolinas, and the leader wants him to take his pregnant daughter and the seeds south.

This post-apcalyptic survivalist film is enjoyable. It's well performed and moves along well.
