Comments: A baby is born with a bad illness. She's cured by an evil witch and grows up having a second sight. She reads the future and can make it come true by forcing people or animals to die. She is banished to the forest when she makes her father kill himself. Later, Gretel and Hansel are pushed out of their family home. Their mother cites no food as the reason.

This movie depicts a different idea of the folktale. It is creepy. I haven't seen an Orion Pictures film since the 80s! This movie was filmed in Ireland.
