Comments: Diagnosed with throat cancer and following his son's expulsion from school, Ip Man visits his former student Bruce Lee in San Francisco and to secure education for his son. He witnesses injustice against Chinese immigrants there. He does what he does best: he stands up for them!

This fourth film in the Ip Man is fantastic. It may be the best one yet. The fight scenes are very impressive. The duels between Japanese striking martial artists (karate) and the largely defense Chinese martial artists (kung fu) are beautifully choreographed and very realistic. The character development and plot are perfect. No time is wasted. But most of all, I really enjoyed the theme of this film. High recommended!
