Comments: In the future, a system of galaxies are united and a fleet of ships protects them. The flagship Andromeda responds to a distress signal only to discover it is a trap. The Andromeda is trapped near a black hole, effectively putting the sole remaining crew member, the captain, into suspended animation for 300 years. His ship is finally discovered, and he is released from his temporal trap. He discovers that his world is long gone; however he is determined to find any reminants of his lost way of life and restore order.

This TV program is exciting and features a variety of aliens. The storyline is interesting, and the acting is decent. It was created from Gene Roddenberry's ideas and produced by his wife.
