When Mr. Snowcone pushes a pop-up book through their letter slot, she decides that she will go outside for an ice cream cone. What she finds, in the outside world, seems different than her father's description; however, her childish fantasy is complete with an ice cream. The trouble is what will happen to her? This film has elements of survivalism and the X-Men. It's so odd that it's intriguing. In fact, it captured my attention by being so very unusual! I don't like the armed UAVs (AKA drones) flying above U.S. soil. I know it's the sad future, but it's still an invasion of privacy. (This country shouldn't be a war zone.) Despite this sadly typical acclimatization to overbearing militarized police, this movie is enjoyable. |
