Comments: The movie begins with an old dog recollecting his life with his master. He recalls him being chosen out of the litter by a "racing driver", his master. He is named Enzo, "a very fitting name for a dog". Enzo expresses his concern of being cast aside when his Master meets a woman. His worries compound when she, Eve, bears a daughter. He quickly learns that his concerns are ill-founded. That's about when he learns that Eve has something very wrong with her, unbeknownst to his master. How can one bark an explanation? Who would believe it?

I love how this film offers insight into both a dog's life and a racing driver's life. It makes a wonderful story! The crazy zebra scene is outlandish, and hilarious! (Of course, we know what really happened!) And yes, it's OK to hate the grandparents!

I enjoyed the dog speaking about hopes of being reincarnated as a human. This film is based on a novel. Highly recommended!
