Title (Year): 1990: The Bronx Warriors - 1990: I guerrieri del Bronx (1982) Age: 42 yearsGRS Rating: 2 of 5
Infractions: Blood & gore Comments: The film opens with a girl running across a bridge leading out of Manhattan. She's running away to the Bronx and is promptly rescued by the Raiders, when a group of skaters try to take her. In the year 1990, the Bronx is a no man's land. Raiders (bikers) rule the area. Police don't enter the borough. But a rival gang is making a move to take over. The girl's wealthy father wants her back, too. Does this mean war? This film is typical of the Mad Max imitators. The Hell's Angels, who get a decent amount of screen time, performed the action sequences. I like the lone drummer, playing for no apparent reason, when the Raiders discover one of their own impaled on a stake. There are lots of hot rods and motorcycles. A really good quality video is available on YouTube. |
