Comments: Detectives Starsky and Hutchinson work the streets of Bay City, California (obviously Los Angeles). They investigate all sorts of crimes that occur in the big city. One detective is a health nut, and the other is the exact opposite. The odd combination helps them survive when the world seems pitched against them.

This TV program may be the epitome of American '70s detective shows. There are car chases, gun fights with unlimited bullets, pretty women, explosions, fistfights, drinking, rough "street" interrogations, etc. The famous red and white Ford Torino is a character itself. "Zebra Three here."
