Comments: This film picks up a few years after Godzilla. Now, Godzilla's behavior is monitored; however, other giant creatures have been found around the globe, frozen in ice. Enter a seemingly unexpected--but plausible--eco-terrorist. He believes that he can right the "wrongs" of human civilization by restoring these giants to life. To hell with people! Will mankind continue to exist?

This film lovingly pokes fun at ideas like global warming and over-population. The monsters are very life-like. After their struggle, I hope you don't expect to return home to the Back Bay, or any part of Boston! If you want an action/disaster film that also has some sappy moments, then this film would be a good candidate. It's a far cry from the Saturday afternoon re-runs of Japanese monsters that I've watched! Also, there's a scene after the credits.
