Comments: This film combines restored photos and video with accounts of World War I told by veterans. The movie explains life from joining up to returning to Britain after the war. I was amazed by the quality of the audio tracks, colorized video, and photos from the Imperial War Museum and the BBC. This film does an excellent job of immersing the audience in the life of the infantrymen of this peculiar war. There are some additional sound effects and voice actors.
