Comments: A mother and daughter are driving through town discussing men when their car sustains a broadside impact. A Parisian detective is recovering from the death of his partner and wife, a would-be mother, by the hand of a repeat offender. His superior calls into question his motives for the tragic raid, and assigns a young, up-and-coming officer as his new partner. As the two stories collide, what will be found?

It took me quite a bit of time to realize that the two story lines were related. I love the fact that reading subtitles makes us miss subtle details! This film is set in a very near Paris (2020) that, notably features very high cars and not much else. There's plenty of product placement. It is wonderful seeing Mélanie Thierry again! In fact, all of the actesses look great. This film delves into the concept of memory erasure and transfer. It does a good job without becoming technical. The focus of this movie is the characters, not the technology.
