Comments: Three individuals are tearing along a mountain road in an ambulance, but with the lights and siren off. One of the occupants, a Gendarmerie officer, has told the paramedics that there's a NOAH base not far. But they have to stop for fuel and the officer winds up shooting the male paramedic, forcing the female paramedic to shoot back, killing the officer. The two paramedics, who are lovers, continue in the ambulance. She runs out of fuel at a large, lonely building and is able to tend to his wounds. She starts the building's generator to light and heat the place and hopes she can signal a rescue. Will she receive a response in time?

This film is distinctly French--even though its focus is zombies--because the love affair plays an important part. The new aspect in this world is that the zombies can communicate at a distance. This film is beautifully shot. My only complaint is rather small: I could have done without the intentionally jittery camera shots during the chases. Yes, we know that these parts of the film are fast-paced; however, we don't need to be made dizzy by them! This film is much better than the critics, professional and amateur, state: give it a try, if zombie films are your thing! Recommended!!
