Title (Year): At Eternity's Gate (2018) Age: 6 yearsGRS Rating: 5 of 5
Infractions: None. Comments: This film shows Vincent van Gogh's time in Arles with Paul Gaguin. It's not action packed, instead artistic. The Yellow Cafe is featured as well as many other places made famous by van Gogh's paintings. It offers reasons for his famous act of self-mutilation. Curiously, the bottom third of the picture, as seen by van Gogh, is blurry. Some of the other photography is ununsual. There's a short account by Gaguin in the middle of the ending credits. |
