Comments: In the sleepy Norwegian town of Tyos, a man is award the award of Citizen of the Year for keeping the roads open during the winter. When his son turns up dead of a cocaine overdose, the police say they can't do anything. He knows that his son was clean and is determined to exact revenge. The party responsible is a drug lord.

The film is full of dark humor. It is violent, but the picturesque shots of the Norwegian winter balance it. There's a black screen with the name of a character and a cross or a Star of David after each death. Clever touch. I like the unique ending credits, too. The Fisker motorcar features prominently, as well as Italian cars. This Norwegian-Danish-Swedish film is based on a novel.
