Comments: An earth ship detects a black hole. When they take a closer look, they find a seemingly deserted ship that has been missing for twenty years. It exists in a field of anti-gravity, unaffected by the black hole. After nearly being pulled into the hole, they limp past the other ship. Suddenly, the other ship turns on lights to welcome them aboard.

I remember having a pop-up book for this film. It was good seeing the film as an adult. Its special effects are much better than Star Trek: The Motion Picture and on par with Star Wars, if not better. The story and acting are good. One can ignore the Christian references near the end of the film. There is lots of action. The effects really are quite artistic and appealing.
