Comments: A group of sophisticated residents have had enough of their small hometown, Prosperity. They dream of traveling back east, escaping the Old West vulgarity. Their hopes are rewarded when a drunk wagon master falls into their town's saloon after receiving several "signs from God". Meanwhile the railroad company hires an assassin to kill the "quitters", because the railroad needs westward expansion to justify the tax dollars given it by the federal government.

This slapstick film pokes fun at Westerns. It's silly but John Candy keeps it reasonable! This film was released after his death, a distinction it shares with Canadian Bacon. Thank you, John Candy.
