Comments: After a young woman gives birth to an illegitimate boy, she's thrown out of her father's house and heads out west. She's sold into slavery, but escapes. She constantly worries about being discovered.

This film is enjoyable. It relates much of her life. The movie is supposed to be inspired by actual events.
