Comments: The captain of a bomber crew is the lone survivor on a severely damaged Lancaster. Peter has a heartfelt conversation over the radio with a female operator before he bails out without a parachute. He knows that he'll die so he relays his goodbyes to June. Somehow, Peter survives and meets June as she bicycles home! They soon fall in love. However, the captain was supposed to check in "up there".

This comedy features a cool opening sequence of the universe. The use of color throughout the film is impressive. "We're starved for Technicolor up there". Also, I like the witty banter. Sound is also used to convey an effect. There's a rather unusual trial, too.
